I have ordered things and had companies add state taxes as they have some sort of agreement with various states that they do business in… I have also wondered if those collected taxes ever really get to the places that they were collected for or if they are just a bonus to the companies selling the product…
Those that complain about the “new” prices are seeing “Supply & Demand” economics in action. The consumer has the option to either buy or not but when faced with “what can I eat this week or should I pay the rent/mortgage those decisions get harder and harder.
Prices of yesterday are never the price of today…
Anyone remember 5 cent Mars bars…? 10 cent pay phones..? ect ect
