casting a revolver chamber

I'd like to make a casting of a revolver chamber, maybe two out of the six if I have enough casting metal. I have some of the Brownells stuff but have never done it before, any tips or what not to do to screw it up?

I'm assuming you mean Cerrosafe? Easy to use. Do not overheat it; it melts easily at moderate temperatures (.158° - 190° F). For best results, warm (not heat) the cylinder so the molten Cerrosafe fills well and evenly. Easy to melt it on a stove top at medium heat. Make sure the chambers are clean to prevent sticking.
