cases getting stuck in lapua's blue box...prob solved

if i am the only one having this minor annoyance this post is of no benefit. in a hurry, occ the extractor groove gets caught in the rim of the underside of the top hole and i drop the case or have to keep picking it up. i turned the thing over and using a drill press, the chamfer tool cuts this rim off and a smooth surface allows the case to slide out unimpeded.

I will have to remember that when I get tired of rearranging my sock drawer! 8)

Haven't had the problem yet but I am glad I know how to fix it if that happens.

Thanks, Bob

The perforated rack is stuck in the bottom of the box. Need screwdriver to lift it out...instructions re this are not included.

if your using the Lapua cover for a shell holder... fill in the blank...fyi... don't use the Lapua cover for shell holder.

My error. The rack is stuck in the top of the box and I initially thought it was a shell holder, but no support, then I got out a screwdriver. Nice thing is there is enough room between cases that a fat finger or gloved finger can pick up a case, a problem with the mtm boxes.
