Case Trimming

Forgive me if I'm being naïve, but why don't more people use the Lee quick trim tools? It seems that in the end all-be all of uniformity you would like the way the trimmer works. I mean, its a steel guide rod and every case gets cut to exactly the same length. I use them for everything I shoot, from 454 to 375, and they seem to be great. Am I missing something here or should I spend a bunch of money to get a better trimming setup?

I used the Lee setup for years and love it. For hunting rifles etc. that you're only trimming a limited number of cases it's great. But when you get into competitive shooting and run thru hundreds of cases a month, the Lee gets a little tedious.

Without breaking the bank, I bought a Little Crow gunworks trimmer (attaches to my drill) for 223 and 308 and it really speeds up my trimming and is very accurate.

I used a Lee trimmer for a while until I realized what it was doing to the inside of my case necks. Might be OK for hunting cartridges but not for competition.
