Case issue?

I was referring to the case lengths on the reamer prints we use at JGS for the 6 Dashers.

Our #1300 print for the 6 Dasher (meant to be used with Lapua brass) is 1.570, the Dasher Norma #1318 is 1.605, and the 6 A-TEAM print (Alpha brass) is 1.555.

As always, especially with Dashers, as there is no standard, we suggest measuring your actual brass or sending in a dummy round for us to measure to take the guess work out of it.
I've measured new Lapua 6BR, and new Alpha Dasher/6BRA brass......all he same length.

It appears, to me, that when I run the mandrel into the neck it distorts the shoulder/body intersection, that with a tight chamber maybe giving me issues

Worth taking notice of that bit of info, thank you
I had to lube the inside of the neck and continually polish the mandrel to keep the brass from galling and to keep the mandrel feeling smooth while pressing it through the brass. I always size a full batch of 100 cases. The powder residue inside the neck gets contaminated with my process and looses its benefits. I kept reading here that top shooters don’t do it and I just decided to skip it and test. My range is 700 yards and luckily all my rifles from 223AI up to 308 show no loss in performance. The 223AI shoots about 3/4 MOA at that range and the larger calibers even better. I think I’ve gotten about all I can from them and I’m happy with it. I keep playing with the 223 because if I could get it to 1/2 MOA at 700 yards it would be better but being able to land all ten shots within a 6 inch square is still pretty good for a Remington 700P with a excaliber barrel and me doing all the lathe work on the barrels.
