How many cases to each did you check in your comparison?
And how equal were the case lengths to one another?

Your capacities are way south of any I've measured to the 6BR and Dasher. My Dasher capacities are typically around 41-grains, and the 6BR's typically 3-grains less.Just one of each for now I was in a hurry and I did make a mistake and corrected it.

Methanol (racing alcohol) would have far less/lighter density, and will float on water.

Good point....Less dense? ......... yes.
Float on water?.......... no.
Methanol can hydrogen bond with water and water with methanol, so they are miscible in all proportions. In other words, unlike gasoline, methanol and water readily mix. In fact this is the very property which makes those "gas dry" products effective.
