Pic up a shoe box of old cartridges today. I would really like to know what the rim fire are.

The one's in the clip look to me like the 6.5x52mm Carcano.

Without measurements, the rimfire will be almost impossible. Looking at all the rimfire choices can make you appreciate SAMMI.

I do have one headstamped 6.5 carcano it's body is about .100 shorter than these.
