Cartridges boxes?

Hi,

Does anyone besides MTM make boxes to hold my 6BR cartridges? At the moment I'm using my old MTM .243 boxes but they are way too deep. Sinclair's sells one model of MTM box for the 6BR but it only holds 50 and there's no handle. Ideally I'd like a box that is the proper depth, holds 100 rounds and has a handle.

I suppose I could wad some tissue or something up to raise the 'floor' of my MTM .243 boxes, but that's a pain. Thanks!

Oh, mo' pics of my 6br project are here...

Thanks. I looked and am unsure I want to go there. My experience with clear plastic containers hasn't been good. It seems to get brittle in the sun pretty quickly though I imagine there's more than one kind of clear plastic.

It's too bad I don't have a drill press. I could rip the guts out of my MTM boxes and drill into some plastic cutting board material easily enough. I've got a dozen .243 sized boxes with handles that are now basically useless. Maybe it'll work out. -Rod-

Are you aware the MTM 100 round boxes with handles have two positions for the interior insert? Snap it out of the main box and rotate it 90 degrees and it sits at a different elevation. The high elevation works good for 7mm BR.

Kitsap, I didn't know that, no.

Earplugs occurred to me too. For the moment I'm using 2 ply toilet paper, the ply's split apart and wadded up and one sheet goes into each hole. Perfect.

The other thing that occurred to me today is .410 shotgun wads, the fiberboard type. The diameter will probably be about .38-.400" and the height is 1/4 or 1/2", depending on which I want to use. That seems to be the best bet, short of buying new boxes. A bag of 500 is about 10 bucks so would convert 10 of my 50 round boxes. That's cheaper than new boxes, cheaper than earplugs and they'll last longer than my TP. -Rod-
