cardboard backers

where do ya'll get your card board from for the 1000 yard target frames?
I did a search and could not find anything 1 piece that was the size of the target frame.

I've had a local packaging company makes ours. For a very low price they will take corrugated material and laminate it together to any thickness I want. They charge me almost nothing.

Find a friendly lawyer, good luck) and see if he has any fiber-boards they use in courts for evidence display. They are printed on one side, but clean on the other. Some get up to 48 inches wide/tall ... I don't know if they're big enough for 1,000 yards but work really well for 100 to 500.

If you want them new, try a printing company that specializes in courtroom displays or corporate boardroom displays.

Our club uses 'homosote' board that 1/2' thick. Comes in 4' x 8' sheets like plywood. Lumber yards carry it. Looks like pressed paper fiber. Grey color. Does not break apart with bullet holes. Not sure of the spelling but the lumber yard people will know. Cheap too.

Steve: Tri-fold cardboard display board, as used by school students for projects. Folded dimensions 32 3/4' high x 24' wide. Open dimensions 32 3/4' high x 48' wide. Compact enough for easy transport, large enough for 'long' distances. Before mentioned appliance/box cardboard also excellent & 'free'.
