Carbon six prefit

Hey guys, I’m looking at a carbon six tikka prefit chambered in 22 creedmoor. I would probably go with proof carbon if they done prefits chambered in 22 creed but there website doesn’t show that they do. Anyone had experience with there barrels? Thanks

Unless your mind is set on Carbon Six, you may want to check out X Caliber out of Montana.
I have several of their barrels and they perform flawlessly and look great.
They even do wild cats if you provided the reamer and gauges.
You may want to give them a call or drop them an email.

I have only chambered one Carbon Six barrel and its shoots fantastic. .243 Ackley Improved with Berger 109s and R16 at 3100fps shoots quarter MOA with ease. I was very Impressed with it. From what I understand they are using McGowan blanks for these barrels. I have used a few McGowans on Savage builds and been very happy with their accuracy as well.

I have 2 Carbon Six prefit barrels, both in .223. Only 1 has been fitted - to an ARC Nucleus. It has been easily as accurate as the Proof's I have - and was easier and quicker to get. I have a prefit .22-250 fast twist currently on order. So far I am very pleased.

I put a rifle together for a buddy of mine with a carbon six 300 win mag prefit. The little bit I shot it it shot extremely well and cleaned up with ease. I hope to get it back and finish the barrel break in and finish tuning the load He was in a hurry for it and he still ain’t shot it.
