Carbide sizing button kit

Anyone use the redding buttons when resize and if so why. I don't use a button at all with my Redding resizing die and was wondering is it best to use them or not. I was wondering if it would make seating easier. If you get a 7mm bushing I guess it will measure .284?
Thanks Anthony

Anthony: I only use the carbide buttons for my factory chambers. And the only reason I use them for that is because the sizing die over-sizes ( squeezes down) the case necks far more than the .002" to .003" that is required to hold the bullet. So, an expander button must be used and I do find the floating carbide button causes less runout after seating the bullet. With my FL neck sizing bushings though, since I am in control of how much the neck is being reduced in diameter, (anywhere from .001" to .003" Maximum) there is no need for the expander. The tapered expanders are also good, but I still prefer the carbide button. The parrallel sided expanders are the worst, for causing runout & I will not use them.

I quit using the button on my sizers because they overwork the neck and cause too much runout. I've gone to a body die to bump the shoulder when needed and use a Lee collett die to size the necks. Runout is less than .002" with the Lee.
