My pal shot this ol mangy girl last night as it came into a dead pile we were set up over. We already had taken 8 from here in the 3 times over it so far.
She snuck in through the tall grasses and stopped 30 feet or so from the real meat and started to chomp on something in the tall grasses. I told my pal most likely a leg or cow part they drug into the taller stuff for safety.
I said shoot soon as it makes a good position to you. He dropped it and after we got down to it saw that other coyotes had drug 6 of their counterparts from a separate pile we left them in into the tall grasses to feed upon.
All were like this one, gutted out and working on the other parts.
We already know they are cannibalistic and will eat another dead one as fast as anything else.
This is just to show others that didn't know that part overall. It was a good Xmas eve shoot.
