Team Canada won the International 8 man Team event but I cannot find a link to the summary of scores. Hopefully once all the travelers have arrived home safely, some will be able to post pics and actual results.

Congratulations Shiraz on your "2 in a row" Canadian National Championship and to James Crofts for your FTR Championship.
It was a privilege to shoot with you and look forward to having the opportunity to do so again next year. Hoping to be in better shape by then with a little luck.

It was great to see so many people travel up/over here to join in on the "Connaught Range Experience." Although conditions were a little mild for Connaught,we still got a taste of the rain, heat and mirage (swamp) it can dish out.
Truly enjoyed being able to chat with some old acquaintances and meet and make new friends.

Am hoping that once people are home safely and unpacked, they might be able to share some
of their photos and stories on here.
Best regards
Gord O

We're just working on resolving a scoring software issue that is preventing us from posting the International Team Match scores, but keep checking back or I will update once they are up.

Thanks to everyone who came out to make this event so much fun, and we hope you can make it back next year!

All the best,

Scott

Congratulations and good shooting as well as coaching!

Gord,
Looking at the results you were in pretty top form. 5th place in the agg against the crew you were shooting with is a pretty fine showing.
I plan on being there in 2016 & 2017. See you then unless you come to Phoenix to warm up this winter.

Any updates on the International teams match?

I have just been informed that it was

1st place Canada
2nd place GB
3rd place USA

Well done Canada.

I'm curious as to the match scores, any luck with them on the DCRA website?

Thank you for the photos manitou210, do you know what caliber the Canadian F open team used? or was it a pick and mix.

Once more congratulations on your gold medal. I'm only surprised that more people haven't given the Canadian team more accolade, or doesn't the International team shoot hold the same importance as the individuals?

This was the first year for the International Team Match, and it was put on in light of the fact that we had a large contingent from GB over this year and wanted to offer something unique, as there are very few 8 shooter team matches outside of Worlds and The America Match.

If we have enough groups over next year we will happily make it part of the program, although I suspect both the Canadian and US coaches will be after us to offer it regardless. Since we're on the topic though I will congratulate the Canadian Captain Eric Bisson, coaches Richard Dreger, Jonathan Laitre, Will Chou, and Kevin Chou, and all our shooters on a tremendous performance.

To the best of my knowledge all of our Open guys are running 284s, which is about optimal for the range template at Connaught.

Cheers,

Scott

Scott - Thank you for doing a tremendous job running the whole match. It is a very hard and thankless job. Although I thanked Kathy personally as well, she deserves public acknowledgement for her behind the scenes role, plus the many other people involved including all the line officers.

Congratulations to Team Canada for winning the big Team match. It was very fitting that the very first match was won by the home team. Great job!

Once again, thanks for the great job!

Good to see Fold-It's are as popular with the F-Classers as with us sling holdouts.

Also that 284 is the blessed caliber... gonna be MY next build.

Open Canadian team shooters had to use a minimum of a 284 shooting the 180gr Hybred around 2900 or the 7mm/270 WSM shooting the 180gr Hybred.
