Nice review and pics. I always wanted to know how easy it was to install and remove that bipod. Looks like the cam system is rock solid.

I have been using this bipod for a couple of years. Easily adjustable, cam system is rock solid - there is a beveled edge that slides in easily and locks into position.
Work of art and engineering. Definitely would recommend.

It's a piece of work... I'm surprised he hasn't sold more here in the US.

This is an APA 7BAT project I'm working on now.

This is a McRee's Precision stock with a fore-end designed specifically for the Rempel Skipod. Really shows the flexibility of the McRee's Precision Chassis, imho.

Glad you guys enjoyed the article. Hopefully I'll heal quickly enough to get back to shooting late this summer.

nfhjr62 - yes, it's more expensive than most other bipods, but it is a very high quality, well made item. Like in anything, there are different products at different prices to meet different needs and expectations. I looked at this purchase like buying a Warner rear sight, it's something that I expect to last me a lifetime.

You get what you pay for. I would be hard pressed to find another piece engineered as well, every detail is based cumulative knowledge from a very experienced competitive shooter (who just happens to be a very good fabricator)
Buy once, cry once. I suspect it will outlast me...
