Can you see your hits with a 20 Practical?

For those shooting the 20 Practical, how well can you see your hits on target?
Obviously a lot of variables but for those using varmint weight bolt action rifles with med to high power scopes, is the recoil light enough to let you see your hits?

Thanks, Matt.

I have no problem watching the hits with my 204 ruger.

Savage model 12 LRPV. Vortex 6.5-20x50 scope. I'm not sure how much it weights but I'd guess close to 13 pounds.

Awesome thanks for the reply. IIRC the .204 uses a heavier charge than the .223/20 Practical so if you're seeing them a 20 should have no problem.

In short yes. I have two rilfes in 20 Practical one is a AR-15 and the other is a bolt rifle. The 20 Practical is an awesome round. Hope you enjoy it.

I too can see my hits with a 204 as long as I am on a steady rest and the gun is over 9lbs. I want to build a 20 practical too on a bolt gun, but like all my other dreams, they wait for funding!

I have a 20 Practical AR and see all the hits even on 24x zoom. You still have to be in a good position. I do have an option of putting a lead weight in the stock (adds 2 lbs) which I do when I am pdogging and take it out when I am hunting predators.
