Can you help me figure out what the heck his is?

Hi all,

I need some help figuring out what the heck this is. I came across it the other day cleaning out an old box of reloading/shooting odds and ends that has been building up over the years as I pick up equipment from buddies getting out of the game, garage sales, and the like.

It is solid and appears to be stainless steel. I first thought maybe some kind of cleaning rod guide but it seems entirely over-engineered for that purpose.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Cheers,

Pete

Uncertain, but it might well be this ...

Sinclair Int'l has photos of its "Sinclair Arbor Press Base" on the website.

It's a decapping base. Can be used with any hand neck sizing die in arbor press or just hammer tap a decapper rod for manual decapping of cases. Several companies made this as well as many home made. Not just Wilson make.

Thank you all!

That would make sense, I do have a couple of Wilson neck dies and an arbor press though I have never used them.

Looks like I have a new project for this weekend.

Cheers!
