Can you get / use a 223 bolt in a BAT MB action???

I currently have a BAT MB action with a 308 bolt face that I use for 6 mm BR. Is it possible to get a replacement bolt with a 223 bolt face that would work in this action to use for 223 Remington? It sure would be convenient to use the same action and stock.

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for the advice, too bad they aren't working today!!! It's my question and I want the answer now!!!

Thanks,
JG Wentworth

I am almost sure they would make you one. There would be no reason not to. I would bet they will with 99.9 assurance. If they wont which I doubt, get a .308 bolt and have it bushed down at worst case scenario. Is you mb a 2 lug?

Time was when that was an easy question to answer - their web site had a table that listed the available features for all their actions, by action model. Just visited their website and it has been completely revamped, and quite frankly, the new web site, while a lot prettier than the last version, isn't very informative. I'll take informative over pretty any day. :o
Sorry, it looks like phone call to BAT when they go back to work time.
