Can the Stiller tac 30 be accurate

I have a new to me Stiller Tac 30 action. Believe its around the 2017 era. Action is smooth and way better feeling than my 700's.
I have quiet a few Remage barrels and wondering how accurate these barrels can be with my Tac 30 vs a stock 700 action. If there is a gain from just the action or is it all in the barrel. Didnt meant to start something here but just curious if others have went down this road before

Any action can be accurate. Any action can cause accuracy issues, even the best customs. There is a lot of accuracy to be had or lost in an action. A lot of competitors understand this. You may see a difference or you may not. No one can tell you which one will shoot better unless they tear into each individual action and insect them.

Got a Stiller Tac 30 with a Broughton 8t in 260. 3,200 rds and she still holds 3/8 MOA. The Tac 30 is capable but it is only one component of a system. All parts play a specific role in a complete accurate rifle.

I have a Stiller Tac 30 that came as part of complete rifle from MPA. It's from the same era as yours. It has always been an excellent shooter in 6.5cm, .308, and 6GT.
Thats exactly what mine was. Guess i need to load some ammo and get to shooting.

I used to have a Stiller Tac30 and a Tac338, albeit they were a little older than yours.

The Tac30 had a Bartlein barrel chambered in .260 Remington. It was one of the most accurate rifles I had ever owned. The action wasn't as smooth as some I've had since and it had a terrible habit of ejecting into the scope windage knob. I had to make some modifications to the extractor to fix it.

I have 2 Tac 30's, both are 6.5 x 47 Lapua's

1) Manner's stock 14 lb. with scope. The guy I bought it off of said it was built by Col. Billy Stevens, but the barrel isn't marked as such. It is mag fed and I've shot it a 1k and it's a 4.5-5-inch gun. 130 Bergers, H4350. This came with a WSM bolt, but I haven't done anything with it yet.

2) 8.5 lb. hunting rifle. I shoot 130 Scirocco's and it is very accurate. Varget in this one. I haven't shot it past 600 yds., but I have shot several groups 4". This is also not a barrel nut gun.

I love mine and use them regularly. I also have a new Tac 300 that I'm planning a 280 imp. sometime. The first gun I'm not sure when it was made but it is older than 2017, #2 is around 6 years old.

Sorry no barrel nut info, but I like both of my Tac 30's.

I hope this helps someway, Waverly.
