Can one wear out a scope dialing for elevation a lot?

Jerry Ricker from Schmidt and Bender told me NO Scope made should go past 10,000 rounds without a refresh or check over.

10,000 recoils of a rifle, ANY rifle, would be considered a pretty brutal torture test for anything, let alone a precision optic. jd

I couldn't quite swing a NF Comp for this rifle, so I found a NF SVH5-25X56 at Europtic for a decent price. It's their lower grade line, so we'll see how it does.

i hope it works out well for you. i tried to stay away from higher dollar scopes as long as i could but once i shot with one i wouldnt go back for accuracy work. the NF bench rest series give a person good value to me.

To me it’s amazing they last as long as they do.
The scope on my main bolt action has burned up a few barrels and regularly sees dialing 0 to 20+ mils and back from the zero stop.
