I am the same on both my 6BRX and 6BRDX.tom said:You should be okay still. I would call that minimum probably though. I know Donovan turns all the way down, but his is minimum turn like are mine. I think mine end up .0114-6 for my .269 neck DX and I would have zero reservations about turning down to the virgin shoulder. I stop my cut about .010 below the future neck shoulder junction.

Why do you stop at the shoulder neck junction? why not past it some? and .262 loaded round is really thin, what are you turning your necks down too? somewhere around .009 I would guess huh?RDavies said:I cut all my 6BR and 6 Dasher brass with the same neck turner setting. Both get turned down to the neck/shoulder junction. My 1st 6 Dasher started life as a 6BR, then I got a 6 Dasher reamer run in with no other changes to the barrel. I created a false shoulder on the twice or 3 times fired 6 BR brass and turned them into a Dasher. Never had any problems, a very accurate F class and 1000yd BR barrel as a Dasher. I'm still using the same brass in a different barrel. (same reamer neck diameters for my 6 BR and Dasher, at around .262" loaded neck diameter.
