Can anybody ID this trigger?

It's a single set trigger from a Rem 722 6mm Int'l that I bought 35 years ago. I never used this trigger, it didn't have a safety. It doesn't have any markings to indicate who made it. Can anybody tell me what it is?
Thanks, Jeff

That was my first guess also, but the few Canjars I have seen had the logo on them. Did Remington ever make a single set? I can't find any using the googles.

I can't see a large pic of it but I'm sure it's a Canjar.
Sometimes there is Canjar stamped in a small circle on the side of the trigger shoe.
Nice triggers.

I'm in the process of building a tubegun with the thought of trying F-Class. Would this be a good trigger to start with? I also have a 2oz remington trigger I could steal from my Pdog rig if it would be better.

Jeff

Your picture file is so tiny that it does not survive magnification with any detail. That leaves guessing, and my first guess would be Canjar. I don't much care for set triggers, but I do like their Light Pull which adjusts from 2-12 oz.

The body and two piece sear is Remington. It appears someone tried making a single set trigger with Canjar parts. It might work but I would not have long term confidence in using it.

I am no Remington expert at all but the 722's that I have seen had 2 piece sears. ONLY a guess that it could be a 722 trigger.

The sear parts were stamped so my GUESS is that they couldn't get a clean stamp using a double thickness piece??????

the trigger houseing is the original 722 rem. , the single set shoe is canjar which was a very popular conversion back in the day. i know this because i purchased several of the single-set shoes from mr. canjar in the early 70s while attending school in denver. - Easy mod. for a great trigger----- take care
