Can a Rem 700 bolt be used in a Rem 722 action.

Can I buy an extra Remington 700 bolt with a ppc bolt face and use it in building a 7.62x39 on a Remington 722 action??
If so where I can I find a used Remington 700 bolt with ppc bolt face.

Yes,a 700 bolt will drop into a 722 action.

My smith fitted a PTG oversized bolt in my Rem 722. Best thing I could have done to that gun. It shoots great and is very smooth now with very little bolt slop.
