Camp Perry/vendors

Doesn’t anyone know which events at camp Perry will have vendors? I’ve never been but heard it’s pretty cool place to go whenever all the events and vendors are there.

CMP and NRA long range week. Doesn't seem to be what it was years ago when the CMP store was in the hay day of the best surplus and vendor row had great deals that you could only find there. Seems more watered down now compared to "the good 'ol days" but I assume perspective matters

Can't speak for the other disciplines, but per my email with Christina @ the CMP,commercial row will be there for the Bullseye pistol week.

The vendors are there as long as the shooters are there. I’m not sure how else to answer your question.

In all honesty, I'm not expecting the amounts of powder, primers, bullets, brass I've seen every year past. And definitely not the prices. The merchants can sell every round & ounce of ammo & reloading supplies they can lay their hands on, without paying for a vendor spot right now. If it was my business I'd have to really think about the expense of the trip. Many of them will, just because they've been going for decades, but I'd still be thinking about it.

Year old thread alert........
I used to work as a volunteer at Camp Perry during the pistol phase. My dad was a competitor for decades. I worked for Colonel John K.Lee who had a position with the CMP and NRA. The colonel was a great guy, and he sure knew how to treat boys. I was there in the late 60's and early 70's, at that time 'Commercial Row' was hopping ! You couldn't walk it with out multiple shoulder-bumps. So many vendors had huts, Colt, Ruger, Hammerli, etc., Al Popper and other gunsmiths.....It was the place to be and it was so much Summer fun.
My mom and dad volunteered there for many years after my father stopped competing. It was always a highlight of their Summer, just as it was for me so long ago.
