Camp Grayling spectator access?

I've never been to a long distance shooting match and would like to see the upcoming shooting in May at Camp Grayling...I have an email in to one of the organizers but am wondering if anyone can tell me 1) what hoops I should start jumping through to get access to the base and 2) what spectating tips you'd give a first timer?

You have to have your name put on a list. The long range director is Brent Solomon, MRPA web site is the person you must contact. We shoot on range #10, bring a chair spotting scope and warm clothes. You are more than welcome to shoot, Target Rifle, Service rifle or F class. Pm me with any other questions I will be shooting that match.

If you are planning on going to the first match of the year (even if you are spectating), you should probably bring a rain suit, parka, shorts and sunscreen! Since you are from Michigan, I'm sure you understand!

Steve, TrapperT, thanks for the advice...and I definitely get the 'rain suit, parka, shorts and sunscreen' thing!

I believe it was to Brent Solomon I sent the email so I'll double-check and hope to hear from him soon..hate to bother someone but will call him eventually if I don't hear back..
