Caldwell Windmeter

Any views or advise as to why I should not get a Caldwell Pocket wind Wizzard @ $38 visa a Kestrel 3000 @ $160 ??
Anyone know or used either?
Cheers

I have used the Caldwell Pocket wind Wizard. I think it works well. The only down side is that it did not come with directions.

I have one wizard and my shootin buddy has one as well. Mine did not last long......

I'd never trust it nearly as much as a Kestrel or Brunton... The workmanship is not there...

They will tell you the wind at that moment where you are holding it. It will tell you nothing about what is happening elsewhere. Meaning from you to your target.

I bought one witch turned out to be the biggest piece of junk. Was NOT accurate at all it would take a 5 to 8 MPH before it would read 1 MPH . I tossed it and bought me a Kestrel 2000 from Sinclair witch is outstanding! the 3000 and 4000 are nice but if nothing else I suggest you save your penny's and skip the Caldwell and at least get the Kestrel 2000. The Kestrel in my opinion is easier to use and read to boot. Just my opinion.
