Caldwell Rock Deluxe vs Rock BR

I have an old version of The Rock and it serves my purpose. Much like the OP, I don't compete and wanted something nicer than the common bags at the range. The only recommendation I'll make is that the Caldwell bag on there is not too strong and will eventually rip. I replaced mine with a Protektor bag and its been great ever since. I take mine out west and use them on a swivel bench to shoot prairie dogs. That thing has seen a lot of shots and a lot of miles for the money.

Ok so I'm stuck between the bald eagle big 50 and the Rock BR now. The BR has windage adjustment and a bag plus free shipping with my prime but the bald eagle is apparently all round a nicer deal but no windage and I'll have to buy a bag for it regardless I mean is having windage really that important if your not in competition?

I've had the Caldwell Rock Deluxe, the BR and the Bald Eagle Slingshot.

Sure the bald eagle is nicer, but it's also a lot more expensive. The Big 50 is a different beast. I'd rather have the cast iron triangle rest, which is a better foot print size for some of the benches I've used.

The BR is much nicer than the Deluxe and I would definitely go that way between the 2.

The Big 50 has too large a base. I've been thinking about ordering just the cast iron triangle and moving my slingshot windage top to it.
