For those of you who have an interest in small bore and would like to come to South Louisiana to compete in a great match, Palo Alto Rifle & P C, in Donaldsonville LA.{ about 20 miles SE of Baton Rouge }, will be holding our third annual Cajun Classic 3200 Small Bore Championship. What makes this match unique is that we have a door prize table, which this year, will exceed $3,000. You qualify for door prizes for just showing up to shoot. We have contributing vendors such as Benchmark Barrels, Midway USA,Champions Choice, Shilen Barrels and Cabelas just to name a few. This match is also unique in that we shoot three disciplines. Conventional Prone, F-Class Rimfire { now sanctioned by the NRA } as well as Rimfire Bench Rest. Awards are given for 1st., 2nd., and 3rd. in each discipline as well as overall champion. On top of all this, we provide a real Cajun cookout to all competitors and range personnel at no extra charge at the conclusion of the match on Saturday. The range has water and electricity. All firing points are covered, on a concrete slab with custom concrete and steel benches with adjustable shooting stools. Entry fee is $40.00 for both days { two day entry needed to qualify for door prizes }. If you go to our club website, Paloaltogunclub.com, and click on " Match Programs" in the header bar, you can download a copy of the program as well as the registration form.
