Cabela's Mid Atlantic Championship

Anyone been to this? How many rounds are required? Is it both 600 yards and 1000 yards? What's the format of the event? Anything else you want to add please let me know. Anything special needed to bring?
Thanks again

Thank you !! Anyone want to team up in F TR for Thursday team match ? I will give you a little history. Last summer was my 1st season F TR Mid range only with a 1/2 custom .223. I ended my 1st season with a Master classification Mid range. I haven't shot 1000 yard F TR before. I have shot short range benchrest (100-300 yds) and long range benchrest (600-1000 yds) since the year 2000. My current F TR rifle is a complete custom F TR rig in 308. I do have a little experience but not in 1000 yd F TR. Anyone want to team up with a rookie F TR guy for the team match ? Edit...If not I'll still shoot Friday for practice.
Thanks again

I am sure that we will be able to find others who will want to shoot team with you... come join the fun. I think you will find it to be a good match.

I just looked at your website for the Championships...The web states 0800 firing time. The attachment states 0830. Which is correct?
Thanks

First shot down range at 0830. The attachment is the match bulletin approved by NRA - I would plan on getting to the range no later than 0730 to enable squadding... earlier if you can.

If you need additional information, directions or anything else, feel free to contact me off-line.

We have 15 targets and we are planning on 5 relays. The match proceeds quickly because your registration includes a target puller so no pit changes to slow things up. Most people who have participated in our past Regionals believe that this match is a real bargain. We also have a nice prize table and some of the best shooters anywhere will be there. I hope you can make it.

I have shot this match the last two years. It's a very well ran event. Love shooting under cover, having paid pullers, and getting great food Saturday after firing has completed. I will see everyone there in a few more weeks.

In addition to Cabela's great overall title sponsorship and all of the great prizes donated for the prize table by all of our other great sponsors, Remington has come aboard as Saturday's Gold Sponsor donating four firearms for the winners of Saturday's aggregates for F-Open, F-T/R and the two "sling" categories.....

For those who shot with us last year - the old wind flags have been moved and additional wind flags have been added..... now we just hope that they are telling the truth this year.... not likely, but we can all wish for miracles....

Looking forward to seeing everyone....

John
