Final Match Bulletin is also attached as a pdf file.
Our experience with the HEX system was relatively good. This was Bridgeville's first experience with electronic targets so there was a learning curve and some minor growing pains, but things went well, overall.
There was one tablet that went down and had to be replaced on Saturday and we learned that for the system to work accurately and effectively, bullets must remain supersonic at the target line.
On a personal note - this was my first experience on electronic targets and my learning curve is still curving - I miss my white spotter and I miss the satisfaction of watching the target go down after the shot - I guess I'll eventually get used to it... I hope.
Again, thanks to all who shot with us and congratulations to all the winners.
And a very big THANK YOU!!! to Cabela's and all of the other sponsors and donors (too numerous to list here) who helped make this a successful and enjoyable event - THANKS!
As a final note, Cabela's sent two of their employees down to shoot with us - this was their very first Long Range event - and for beginners they did very well, especially given the equipment they were using - good guys, good sportsmen, and now good friends. And they say that they will be back - I think we may have them hooked.
Looking forward to seeing everyone coming back to Bridgeville for next year's 2018 Cabela's Mid-Atlantic Long Range Regional.
