We appreciate the information but you need to be more specific when you post things like this. If at a store say where the store is located, if it is online then state that it is online.

Sorry, but I don't think about Cabela's stores since the closest is 600 miles away. The powder is online and apparently still available.

Bigguy - THANKS for the tip. Most here will realize it's an online thing since a regional store would have little to no impact on all the shooters from all over the world who are on this forum.

Not that I'd feel rushed. Powder is becoming increasingly available week after week. But I just checked Cabela's on-line and the don't list Varget as available in anything more than 1#. If you know of a link where 8# quantities are available it'd be nice to see it posted here.

Since some of us forum members do live close to a Cabela's it is helpful to know if the availability is at a store and where that store is or online. Also the "all the shooters from all over the world who are on this forum" that you refer to other than the United States would not be able to order Varget or any other powders from Cabela's as they have a restriction from shipping powder to outside the United States and even a few of the states in the United States.

Really ??? "Varget in stock at Cabelas" means "Varget in stock at Cabelas". The rest is up to you.

I'd be interested too. I was told that Cabela's doesn't stock 8# jugs ----- period. Considering that they are a 'retailer' and most locations have pretty severe restrictions on how much powder they can have on display, makes sense that they wouldn't want to have a lot of $200 jugs on the shelf and then not be able to stock other one pound bottles.
