Buttstock Shellholders

I picked up 3 of these today at Sportsmans Warehouse for only $10.00 each. They are very well made and are secured by 3 heavy straps with Velcro retainers and an additional strap that attaches around the butt of the gun to keep it from sliding foward. They are made by The Allen Company Inc.

I've seen lesser quality ones in the "Tacticool" gun shops around here for up to $35.00 each. I bought 3 of them, and all fit very nicely on a Weatherby, a Mini 14, and a Remington 700. They have a nice heavy duty zipper on the pouch, and a faux suede covering on the left side that wraps around the cheek piece where your face makes contact. They don't interfere with your cheek weld or sight picture with either a scope, or iron sights. The guy at Sportsmans told me they were a new item, and they just got them in. I bought the last 3 they had.

This one is $26.70 more, and doesn't appear to be much, if any different. Bill T.
