Buttpad ?

I just receiver a Mcmillan A1 from a trade and the buttpad had metal sticking out of the top looks like to much happy sanding. my question is can i get a new butpadd its a pachmayr decelerator
and fit it without having this happen to me when im fitting it.Thanks Mike
 
Your best bet would be to call McMillan and tell them what's going on. The can provide a new pad an can pre-size it for you so you won't have much left to do to finish it.
