Butch's 6mm patches won't go

@urbanrifleman
I don't stab dead center. And there very tight, push through only, until the bulk of the fouling is out.
If i want to patch scrub sooner, I use 1-3/8.
I typically do most the scrubbing with VFG pelts.

Donovan,
I don’t know if you remember me but we use to talk on here I’ve been off the forum a couple years and compitiion as well. I never have seen these pellets but they look interesting do you have specific cleaners you prefer with them.

Just my normal cleaners. They work pretty awesome. For factory barrels and/or for hard layered carbon, I like the "super intense" pellets with interwoven brass fibers for even greater scrubbing power.

I use a 1 3/4" patch and start out stabbing further out near the corner so the first few patches do not squeege, the cleaner and leave it in your chamber, then as the bulk of the carbon is gone and the patches lighten in color I stab a little closer to center, still out there just slightly closer. I like this system because you can get exactly the resistence in the bore you want.
