My wife and I both had it, I just felt real crappy for several days, she got pretty sick. Not go to the hospital sick, but she was feeling a lot worse than me. After about 7 days, we were both fine. We both tested with a high anti body count. This stuff is really crazy. My Mom has "had" it. She seems to be getting over it and she is 91. What is crazy is that it takes people-some get right over it and some die. No ryme or reason. If you want to call me as a bad guy, bring it on.
So very sorry. My dad passed Jan 15 of this year. I had never heard of covid then. But my brother is a retired paramedic and he told me the more he learns about the virus the more he is sure dad had covid. He died of a respiratory issue and had never had respiratory problems.
You guys are just SUPER! I have not had anything hit me this hard. I have absolutely no stamina and can't walk over 30 ft without sitting a little. We are progressing daily. I'm still on O2 and PT. I'd like to kill my therapist, but he is enjoying killing me.
We are hoping for a negative test the end of next week.
You guys are very special!
Hey Butch, glad you are doing a little better. Now the nurse in me is going to set it straight for you. You want to go to Walmart & not ride one of those buggies, or walk to the range without an O2 tank then do what you are told. Rest if you need to, but push yourself when you can. We figured when I worked ICU it took 1 week of recovery for every bed fast day. I spent 11 days in critical care 3 years ago with Septicsemia (blood infection) it took me 6m to a year to get my steam back. Be patient, listen to the PT, (and yes they are the spawn of Satan) but they know how to get you back. PM me with any medical questions, or just need a nurse to B S with. Take care. You guys are just SUPER! I have not had anything hit me this hard. I have absolutely no stamina and can't walk over 30 ft without sitting a little. We are progressing daily. Thanks Paula. My oldest Son is a PT and an attorney and is tough. You are probably right on recovery time. I have a niece that is a PA. My DIL is in this order-Mech engineer, OT, PT, and now is a pharmacist. We begin to wonder if she would settle down. One of my grand daughter's has a masters in PT but has pursued sports training.Hey Butch, glad you are doing a little better. Now the nurse in me is going to set it straight for you.
