Butch, did you see Dolly at Cowboys Halftime!

Who ever he/she is they are good at nipping and tucking.
This is surely a generational thing.
I get the feeling you do not know who Dolly Parton is.
She has been a Country singer/songwriter for 6 decades. She is probably rich enough to loan Bill Gates money.

To give you and idea of her song writing talents, that great Whitney Houston song, “I will always love you” was written by Dolly Parton

She always possessed a self deprecating humor. Often asked about her over the top stage appearance, she reply’s…..,”it takes a lot of time and money to look this cheap”

The wife and I watched it and that's the first thing either of us said, is just how good she still looks for her age. Couldn't remember but I guessed her to be 80 but she could pass for 40. I think she's about to release a new album at that! Freak of nature and great plastic surgeons...with a s, because she's probably outlived at least one. Lol!

The Dolly thing, hasn’t it gone too far? I think she’s absolutely wonderful, an American icon.

But being about 80, and constantly getting plastic surgery and looking the way she does. I mean to remember her from the heehaw days is one thing but it’s borderline Michael Jackson creepy now. Let yourself age naturally woman, it’s weird.

Saw Dolly and Porter at Lubbock collessium in 1972 after show they said they would go to the edge of the stage and sign autographs as long as the fans came. I didn’t want an autograph but I went to the stage to see the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I think tickets to that show were 2.00$.

She’s a national treasure, no doubt about that. Remains down to earth and loyal to her roots. Personally seeing Dolly in a cowboy cheerleading outfit singing queen songs just didn’t do it for me and that’s ok because I will always enjoy her. I use to live in Tennessee and got to watch her perform multiple times at the Grand Ol Oprey, tickets were cheap and she always delivered. If you visit the Smokey Mountains she is revered for good reason in those parts, she has given back over and over sponsoring a program to provide books for every child in that county, providing jobs at the theme park and on and on. She’s a giver for sure. Nips and tucks for sure but it looks good on her unlike so many celebrities who have swollen lips and faces that looked like they have been stretched beyond what the skin can handle.
