Bushnell Elite 3200 Any Good ?

I had the scope on my main hunting rifle (Remington 700 30/06) go bad.
The reticle has come loose and it is not supported by Burris any more.
I have no luck in after market repair services,seems no body works on Burris.
I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 in 3x9x40 that was given to me a while ago.
Memory seems to think that Bushnell did make some decent scopes at one time .
Would this be one of these ?
It will replace a 2 3/4 x shotgun scope ,no body makes that style any more.

I had a few back in the day and still have one or two around on AR's. They were a decent scope for the money. The 4200 was the high end of the line and the 3200 was the next step down.

I'd use it.

I had a 3200 and 4200. Never had an issue with either of them on my hunting rifles.

This is one of those scopes. Tough as nails.

3200 had 3x zoom range and 4200 had 4x range. Same glass and construction.

Those are pretty decent, made-in-Japan scopes.
I also bemoan the fact that nobody seems to want to make a fixed 2.5 or 2.75 power scope.
I am one of probably 30 people left in the world that like them. Everyone else seems to want a three pound scope.

Good to hear its worth putting on the rifle.
I have a Leupold VX3 1.75x6 on my other 30/06.
Just cant pony up the money for another one of those right now.
And yes,I wish they would bring back the lower powered scopes without all the Tacticool options.
I have had a couple of the older 2.5x compacts and was sad to see them disappear.

Those match pro scope they build are tough I have two and there great scopes

I've had a Bushnell 4200 4-16X50mm on a Ruger 10-22 since 2003 with no problems whatsoever. Still going strong.
