Bushing your firing pin

I would like to get my CZ 527 bolt face bushed . I have heard Greg -Tan does this but his website says he does not do this on CZ .
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If carlsbad doesn't do the CZ, call James Calhoon. He does a lot with CZ527 actions and can do it or probably knows who can. A word of caution though; if the firing pin is surface hardened instead of heat treated steel, you don't want to pursue this as the firing pin will be too weak after grinding down for the .062 hole size. This is a problem with Coopers and some others but I don't know which. Are you having a problem or just prefer the smaller pin size. I haven't had a problem on either of my 2 CZ's.

No issues so far with BR4’s . Mild cratering at hotter loads .

It seems to me that Boltfluter is gearing up to do this. I hope he sees this thread

527 bolts are extremely hard. All the tooling needs to be carbide. I’m not sure anyone does them.
