Bushing size help needed

Loading for a 22 PPC and I need to get the correct bushing. A new Norma case is .245. A case with a seated bullet is .247 and a fired case is .250. I have a .247 and a .249 bushing but Redding say to measure a loaded round and deduct .002 and that's the bushing I need which is a .245. Can someone tell me which bushing to use? I'm a little confused and I want to get the correct bushing the first time.

Thanks- Bill

I wouldn't buy the expensive carbide bushing. I have been using the steel bushings for over 10 years without a problem. Don't for get to lube the necks. Some guys don't.

Bushing sizing of 5thou or more causes more sizing than stamped on the bushing.
Given this, and your neck clearance, I would try the .246 to see if it gets you back to .245 necks.
See what the .247 does. Might be alright

I find my bushings to be exact when I checked them and mine are made by Redding. I have a pretty good assortment of bushing sizes so what I do is seat a bullet into a case and see what bushing slides onto the neck and then just go two sizes down from there. I anneal my brass as well.
I was sizing my 22-250 ackley brass down with standard fl die and then ran them through a bushing die .002 smaller and my groups shrunk quite a bit and loads more consistent, and I annealed brass as well, so both are a big plus in my book.
