this may not be the proper place to air this....
I was always under the impression that you wanted the scope to tilt down in front to get more elevation out of your scope.... as in -20 insert in front on bottom and +5 on the bottom in the rear..... any comments.....had a relative say to the contrary and he's not in a mental ward ;D :D

you are on the rite trak....the halves are in pairs ...a -20 goes with a +20 ...put the thin one on the bottom in the front and its corresponding other thicker half on the top in the front ...this will move the scope bell end down .....and of cours the opposite inthe back....whether its a set of 10 or 5 ..Roger

PS...as itchy says in the next post...there are sometimes mixups in the packaging....somtimes I get two -10's and no plus ten, etc,,,grrrrrr ,,,measure them and look em over real close......this is a cheep and ez way to gain a set of 20-30 moa bases...these inserts are a gr8 idea,,,,,and if your guns mounting screws are tapped croooked ....just use these inserts to shift the scope sideways!!!

I don't disagree with expiper, I just suggest you verify the inserts. There have been issues where the insert did not match was was molded in it. I think it was something like a +10 was actually a -10.

I have a set of 30mm Z-rings that have the 10 minute inserts reversed. Puzzled me for a while until I compared their thicknesses and figured it out.

The real answer to your queetion is YES and of course you should check the thickness of the the shims to be sure you have the thickness as some may be miss marked as stated in the other post. Is a easy cheap way to add MOA to any scope without having the expense of buy a rail and raising your scope higher off the rifle.
