Burris Signature zee Weaver style rings

Has anyone used these rings with a picatinny base? I wonder about the fit and strength of the combination on a fairly light .300 WSM.

the biggest thing ive had them on is brx 6mm though ive heard discussions on this site of them being on wsm & other hard kickers people swear by them there was a thread on them sometime ago but cant seem to remember just when i dont think in my own opinion if torqued properly you would have a problem i dont think ill ever put anything else on mine anyway regards shooter63

I can't find the thread either. Many people use them and swear by them. My concern is how strong the attachment to the picatinny rail is.

Strength to the rail is going to be no different than to a weaver base, same design. I have them on a 300WSM, no issues whatsoever. Another route is the Warnes quick detachable rings. VERY nice & returns to 0.

I use them picatinny base, i also drill out the the tiny screw and tap to 10-32 and use a cap screw as a cross bolt. A 10-32 is .187 dia. and the picatinny rail cross slot is .191,now you can use 65 inch pounds with no stripping and they are rock solid........ jim
A picatinny rail is not the same as a Weaver......

I have mine on a 308 win and no issues and fit is very good
