Burris Signature Zee Rings Question

Burris Signature Zee rings. Why do some sets of rings have (2) screws per side and others have only (1) screw per side??? Is one any better than the other?? I would think that the ones with (2) screws per side would be a better set up and hold the scope tighter.

My best GUESS is that the 4 screw mounts are tactical. All of my sporting zee rings have 1 per side & it's no issue having plenty of holding power, but in tactical situations more is definitely better.

the 1" rings have 1 per side.

the 30mm rings have 2 per side.

never had an issues with either holding the scope tight. I even use the 1" ones on my shotgun scopes.

You are right my 30mm have ring have (2) screws per side. As I don't have any 1" rings and the reason I don't is I never found any with (2) screws per side and felt they were the right ones to buy. Well now I know if I want to buy 1" rings they will only have (1) screw per side. I was thinking the ones with (1) screw were a cheap verison. Thanks again for the answer!!!! Once again there is always some one out there on this site that knows the correct ANSWER FOR EVERY QUESTION. ANOTHER GOOD REASON TO DONATE MONEY TO THIS SITE.
