Surely you're not implying that simply because someone chooses something else that they be, ummm, of lesser intelligence?

I use EGW bases and rings. Made in Pennsylvania, where we live.

Their Keystone line of rings are seriously overbuilt!
I tried lapping them, but that has proven to be a waste of time as they were at 90% contact or better already.

I'd be willing to wager that if you tried them, you at the very least would not notice any less accuracy.

Your over looking their ability to keep your scope centered leaving minimal adjusting with your scope internals. That's is their big advantage.

Nightforce ultralight rings for me. I can use multiple scopes on one rifle (day scope, thermal etc) with a 2 min swap and excellent zero retention. No lapping required. I run 30MOA offset rails on any gun I need extra elevation for. It's really hot here in Queensland and I would not trust plastic inserts.

Jeff has known for a few years now that I don't conform to the "norms". And we can agree to disagree, yet still remain friendly.

If he wants to yell at me that bad, he has my phone number.

And even though we may disagree, if he needs help with anything, I'm a phone call and 15 minutes away.

It wasn't really you guys it was directed at. I know what going on there, mostly fun. Theres a couple threads going on now that to me need shut down as no good useful info is coming out of them anymore.
Just my opinion and you and Jeff can call me and yell at me anytime its all good and I haven't talk to either of you for a while.
