Burris ring height?

I have a NF 8-32x56 and was wondering what height rings I would need to mount it on a Barnard picatinny rail and a 1.25" barrel under it?

I have Bat / Panda / Rem actions with Picatinny rails on them. ALL sport NightForce 12-42's (both BR and NXS Models) all have Burris "Medium" height rings and all clear the barrel(s) >>> 2 of my barrels are "straight tube" 1.25"..

Thanks for the info. Is there still some room between barrel and objective to slip in a mirage shield?
Or do the mediums leave it close enough to absorb a lot of heat of the barrel?

I always use a mirage shield! I have never thought of the scope getting too hot>>I do not know..

Clearing the barrel is only one consideration. How high the comb is is another. Later! Frank
