Burris has a problem...F.Y.I.

The new 30mm Sig. Zee rings I just purchased and then advertised here to sell because they were to high have mis-marked inserts.

I just got off the phone with Larry in the Tech. dept. of Burris and he said the company that makes the inserts for them incorrectly marked the +10 and -10 inserts. In my pkg. I have 3 +10 only one of which is thicker, both of the other +10's are the same thickness as the one -10 that was in the pkg.

He said they have been aware of this problem for about 3 weeks and are awaiting shippment of correctly marked inserts from the company. Said it should be any day now. I am now on the waiting list.

it's not only the "10" none of the inserts are what they are supposed to be i've got a box of 20 or so that are not even close took that many to get a set of 4 that i could use
best to check them all with calipers to save a lot of ammo

Yes, Burris does have "problems". I've also opened the sealed bag & found mis-matched off-set ring inserts. I was told by "Lock,Stock, & Barrel" last Spring that Burris was forced to shut-down their production of Signature rings because of a lead contamination problem. I think they are up and running now, since I was able to buy another set,Midway) a few weeks ago. Over the years I've been their #1 fan for the Signature rings, but unless/until they get their act together, not so sure anymore. It's sad when you watch a high quality product being destroyed by ineptness and company decisions,?).
