I have been doing a ton of research on these sights..Thinking of mounting
one on my Taurus 44 mag for hunting..With 70 year old eyes one can use
the extra help. So I wanted to ask if any one here has ever used or know
some one who has..I see articles where they are mounted on semi's,so
figured with their slid action they must be rugged...thanks..

I used one on a Marlin .44 mag and it worked great. Have also had one on a 1911 .45 ACP, nary a problem.
I have a like new used one I haven’t got around to posting for sale yet if you are interested.

Also had one on a .357 Marlin. This was at 50 yards on a chilly, breezy day.
The sights help a lot. I can’t use irons anymore.

FWIW, I have three of these, and use them at 15 and 25 yards standing, mounted on a S&W Model 41 22LR, a Les Baer 1911, and some air pistols. They hold zero and have never been a problem. I've recently gone back to iron sights on pistols because I want to compete in a few informal irons-only matches in my area, and have noticed I'm more accurate with the reflex sight. The Fastfires are very good IMO.

I have one on a Glock 20 with Lone Wolf long slide, full power loads and stays put.
