Burris Eyepiece Moving

I just sold a burris black diamond 6x24x50 it was very clear but I didn't like the idea to adjust the power the whole eyepiece rotates and if you have the gun on a rest aiming at the target and push on the eyepiece from any direction your cross hairs move that can't be very good for accuracy.I also bought a used burris there titanium top line scope on ebay and when I got it the eyepiece on that one was loose it moved left right up or down with very little pressure just the weight of it would move it.I remember when burris first came out they were almost twins to leupold what happened? I don't know why they designed an eyepiece that way,hunters can't put scope caps on them or they will rotate as you change power.On bench rest scopes they make sure the eyepiece lock ring is tight so the guns will group good,I really like burris but i hate the eyepiece.
