Burris Eliminator Scope Opinions?

hi guys and girls im new to this forum i am from australia and i have enquired about the new burris eliminator scope i would like to hear some feedback about this scope weather they are worth while buying

I have a friend who is an excellent shooter and hunter He has used them since they first came of and he loves them. Not my cup of tea but his endorsement tells me they are a viable option.

I know two guys that bought them for hunting rifles. Both of them couldn't get rid of them fast enough. Big, bulky, complicated and didn't seem very accurate as the distances varied. I have no personal experience with them.

Well, they're on the Eliminator 5 now. Read a guy had a 4 and just got the 5 and proclaimed it has much better glass than the previous. I prefer to run with the Leupold VX5HDs with CDS dials. Crystal clear glass and very lightweight.
