Burris Eliminator III Laser Scope

Anyone using one or have experience with it? Also wondering why it is not offered by the other major scope manufacturers. Would appreciate comments.

My brother has one. It has a great range finder. Glass sucks big time and it loses its zero frequently. It costs the same as a nightforce. I would buy the nightforce in a heartbeat

Pretty much the same as a pals eliminator scope which turned me off from buying one last year after using his.
Ranged great, I hit what I was shooting at, but man the glass was the pits, not worth it IMO as well.

I have one and its reliable, quick and with a little testing, good to at least 600 yards with my 6.5 Creedmor. The optics are not near as good as my good Leupolds or any of my Nightforce scopes so I do not use it for animal identification beyond 200 yards. Like spike or doe for deer. I use my Leica binoculars for that. If you have the skills to range and calculated the trajectory and adjust, you are better off wiith out it, but if you are not confident of you skills, the Eliminator !!! is a good choice.

Glass is OK but not top tier, but it does work as advertised. A big step ahead of the previous units. Phase 4 probably will really be good. As a side note, probably 99% of the buyers have never looked thru a Nightforce or similar quality glass, so without that knowledge the buyers are happy. If it had the same quality glass it would be a $2500-3000 scope that wouldn't sell.

store salesman. I will show him the responses so he has a more balanced viewpoint.
