Burris 8-40x50mm F-Class scope, Has anyone tried one?

Looking for any reviews on the new Burris scope. Looks like a nice rig but looking for info on how good the glass is compared to the BR NF scopes and Sightrons.

Do they track well etc. Any info you guys can tell me would be a help thanks Mark

My experience with Burris scopes is that they do not meaure up optically with NF or Leupold. I have owned several and done side by side checks. The distortion near the edges is evident. Spend a little more and get a Leupold or NF.

I like Burris and the scope in question I have no idea about but think it would be okay except for the FF.. I agree for the price point to go for the Nightforce..

Yeah, add to that the busy reticle. For me, for that kind of money I'd go with a known quantity like a Sightron 10-50x60 or stretch a little to a new or used NF BR 12-42.
