I'm so sick of this state or should i say chicago,

The price for insurance would continue to climb once everybody and their lawyer's discovered that a very large pool of money lay in wait. The insuance industry could decide not to insure if their profit margins came under attack. On and on it goes. Mayor Daly and Chicago politics in general has all the charm and tact of a Nazi commandant.

Do not worry about it. I doubt if you will be able to find an insurance company anywhere in the world who would write such a policy. So, the law says you have to be insured, you can't buy a policy, so you can't own the gun. End of discussion.

Unfortunately I too am a resident of Kalifornia.
The gun CONTROL is about control. Nothing else. There is no reason for the stupid laws that we have.

Mason - Don't try to justify what they are trying to do. The people of Illinois need to get involved. Start a petition or something to try to get the law repealed. They make these stupid laws that have no basis of reason and are against our Constitutional Rights. We as law abiding citizens need to get mad enough to get involved.

Writing our elected people does no good. We need to make sure the ones that make these stupid rules don't get reelected.

Check in with your home insurance carrier about the cost for an umbrella policy. I added a 1mil umbrella over and above all of my other policies and only pay $146/year.

That is a common problem. Seems some of the people stick their head in the sand and think things will get better on their own.

I am so mad I can't stand it. We are loosing our right a piece at a time and nobody cares.

Neither party is worth a crap. The Demos want to give everything away and a lot of the Republicans want to make sure they get a cut of the give away.

What a mess. I have no answers.

The problem as I see it is we the people are supposed to be the Government but the way everybody wants to trust nobody, this is the reason the freiking Government runs us over. I hold a class 01, 02, 03, and an 06 FFL and I believe as you all do, but the rest of the people are as you said, they walk around with the head in the fourth point of contact. I fight for our rights as hard as any, by joining the NRA, supporting the Sportsman for fish and wildlife and the other things. Even my children attend these meetings but Wyoming don't have the problems you guys do. When you have to many people ignorance runs among them.
Just my $.02, keep your head up for the whole fight, if nothing else it lets them know you'r tougher than hell, then just move to Wyoming.
